NEWS - Slave Lake PAC Meeting

The Next Slave Lake Public Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting will be held on November 21, 2019 at the Slave Lake Inn (Medallion Room). A light supper will be provided beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by the meeting from 6:30 - 9:00 pm. The following presentations are scheduled:

Come visit our open houses to learn more about forest management and get engaged in plan development!

NEWS - Consultation Update

Indigenous consultation for the Lesser Slave Lake Regional Forest Management Plan has progressed to the VOIT stage (Values-Objectives-Indicators-Targets). VOITs are performance indicators designed to manage for values by setting targets in the forest management plan and reporting on progress in achieving those targets. VOITs provide harvest planning direction to meet targets for water, wildlife, vegetation, and more.
